Through his professional experience in the timeshare industry, veteran Gary Martin recognized how many and how frequently timeshares go unused. Understanding how stressful and traumatic combat military service can be, Martin recognized a unique opportunity to give back to veterans by offering them a means of enjoyable transition and relaxation with their families upon their return from combat by utilizing vacant timeshares and cancelled or unbooked cruises.

Honor Them Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Colfax, Washington that will send combat veterans and their families to five-star resorts or on cruises at no charge to them. Our services will be provided on a nationally basis in order to accommodate as many of these honorable individuals as possible.

Veteran Gary Martin founded Honor Them Foundation, Inc. in September 2009 in order to serve as many returning war veterans as possible. Through his 20 years of employment in the timeshare industry, Martin recognized how many and how frequently these facilities are not used. Martin possesses an understanding of the stress and trauma caused by combat military service, and he recognized this opportunity to provide veterans with a pleasant transition and environment of relaxation with their families upon their return from combat. Honor Them Foundation, Inc. will utilize vacant timeshares and cancelled or unbooked cruises through partnerships and donations.

Our organization is committed to dedicating our time, talents and resources to those who have served our great country. We believe there can be no greater satisfaction than to bring a small amount of comfort and joy to those men and women who defend our right to be free. It the hope of Honor Them Foundation, Inc. that through the provision of our services, we can make a positive difference in the lives of these individuals who are most deserving of honor and respect. Honor Them Foundation, Inc.’s services will be coordinated by a well-trained and committed staff to enable efficiency, and ongoing evaluation will ensure progress and cost-effectiveness.

Chris Myers has been involved in the travel and vacationing industry for over 15 years, and has come on board as our director of funding. With his solid background and expertise we plan on growing to help every soldier in their time of need. The military is very near and dear to Chris, and both his father and his father in law served in the Armed forces. His extensive marketing background will help us expand and grow to the next level. It is very exciting to have him on board, and we are looking towards a bright future.
